To make any change in your life, you have to first understand you. It is important to sit down, get a cup of coffee… tea for me, and have a conversation with yourself. It is so important to know your inner self yet we don’t invest time to talk to that person.
Whenever we have doubt, we often turn to our families, friends, or mentors for guidance in our careers, relationships, or other dilemmas. I am not saying it is wrong to do that. I am just pointing out that we do that before unearthing our truth on the matter. It is important to silence all noise and discover the answer within ourselves.
Yes, it may take a while to excavate the truth but I have discovered that asking questions gets you there much faster. But you have to be objective and honest with yourself. As you answer these questions, try to dissect them and I think journaling will help you analyze them. A question a day is enough space to help you find enough time to explore the question you are tackling. Take a step back, and look at your answers on a fresh tab.
For me, they helped me know where I am in life and where I want to be. Gave me a clear picture of my thoughts, aspirations, and actionable steps I should take to be where I want to be.
I hope you get to discover something about yourself. Have fun!!!
