Summary of ActiveCampaign & HubSpot features
The major features in both CRM platforms are similar. Nonetheless, HubSpot is more powerful giving it an upper edge. Additionally, you can get it free of charge.
- Email Marketing
In both, the basic features are similar however, HubSpot avails automation for its higher-tier plans. The free HubSpot email marketing comes with limited features. ActiveCampaign has advanced automation at a very reasonable price making it the go-to-option.
Both software can easily integrate with over 100 tools.
Personally, this is a very key feature in my case. ActiveCampaign has live chat support while HubSpot has phone support and a free live chat for CRM.
When to choose ActiveCampaign
- When in need of advanced marketing automation and you are on a budget.
- When email marketing is your most crucial marketing channel.
- When on a budget but you need team CRM and marketing tools.
- When you have to have lead segmentation.
When to choose HubSpot
- When you are loaded and budget isn’t a big deal.
- When in need of top-notch CRM services.
- When your inbound marketing is tied to your CRM.
- When you give each individual contact sufficient time. Meaning, you have high value conversions.
HubSpot Vs ActiveCampaign
Both are established and highly reputable companies with a lot of similar features.
From my point of view, if our main interest is email marketing on a low budget, then go to ActiveCampaign.
Contrariwise, if your emphasis is CRM and inbound marketing, then HubSpot is the best choice for you. In addition, they are now offering a free email marketing solution even though the features are limited.
